a note from neil labute.

neil labute

i refuse to write an observation/experience that is longer than my own play. that is just silly and self-serving. this is  a wonderful and difficult form to attempt, maybe the best and worst that actually exists–certainly the most difficult i’ve ever tried my hand at. i encourage anyone who does not believe me to try it for themselves. you just may find it to be as fascinating and frustrating as i did.

can’t wait to watch them in performance. entire lives passing in a handful of seconds.

i sincerely hope you enjoy them (at least the ones i wrote).
